Hope you like, I'm surprised as you are that I've picked up Don's style so quickly.

Ooh! These are very good. n.n I'm curious if you'd like to have these up in the fan art gallery?

Why not indeed. :) I've posted them here: http://www.thornvalley.com/gallery/fan/v/tymime/

Please let me know if you want me to change anything, or I can set you up with an account so you can change them yourself (and upload new stuff, if you so desire).

Looks good to me. Although it seems to be in... alphabetical order? Is it supposed to be like that?

I didn't do any work to put them in any particular order, no. So yes, it's probably alphabetical, although if more pictures are added, the newer ones go towards the front.

Awesome job on capturing don's style! It really is pretty damn close!

Hello, tymime,

Super character studies! They really are much like Don Bluth's sketches!

Those are gorgeous. I wish I could do so well.

I'm getting quite good at Mrs. Brisby, but I have an enormously hard time replicating the 'Bluth' style when drawing original characters. They all look out of place next to Mrs. Brisby, so I'm really in awe of your ability to transplant a character from the sequel into the proper style. Any pointers on drawing in that style? Particularly for the eyes? I can replicate the body-shape and proportions well enough now, as well as the facial structures and fur, but the eyes remain elusive!

Also, good on you for removing Jenny's inexplicable breasts from your rendition of her. That bothered me so much in the sequel how suddenly the clothed female mice and rats became so much more human shaped but Mrs. Brisby didn't. Serious inconsistency in character design. Okay... so it was one of the smaller flaws with that movie, but it still bugged me.
