Well, might as well start this party somewhere...

I just wanted to make a post about those that had made requests from me like six or eight months ago, and hadn't seen an image yet. I'm working on some, but lately I've been frustrated with what i can do, so a lot of times I will start the work, and abandon it because I just can't get it right. I know i've been working on a piece for Greg Busby for like two months now, and still haven't gotten it right, as well as an Isis pic i've started and scrapped at least a half dozen times (I couldn't do anthro to save my life)

Other than that, i just wanted to be the first (other than simon) to post here!

You can't do anthro to save your life? That's nothing, I can't draw period. Well I can, it just really sucks, even by elementary school standards. So consider it a gift you can draw at all, and don't give up. You'll get it right sometime.

Tod. Know this is difficult for you: better than most I figure, but like Don said it is never going to be perfect. You might try rolling with a "mistake" to see where it leads. I've never known where a drawing was going to end when I started it.

Not that I'm one to talk. I've just always enjoyed drawing, and can't stand the thought of you losing your love of it to frustration over perfection.

Life's not perfect, thats the beauty of it:

If you feel you can't do anthro, don't do it. If you don't like the results of a challenge, you don't have to go through it again. Just stick to what you do best.

Of course, there is some saying out there that says "Practice makes...something really good (if I only knew what  ).

The final decision is yours and no one else's. To continue practicing anthro or return to your comfortable style, it is all up to you. You should do what you feel is right.
