So, what should I use as my next topic?

Let's go down the list:

Anthropogenic Climate Change: Nah, any politically motivated research isn't worth blogging about. Everybody has their own stance on this topic and discussing it usually causes massive amounts of hate comments.
The death of moderation in politics: As someone who believes that government should be moderate (not too much or too little) this could be interesting. But again, your audience could be made up of conservatives and liberals who disagree. Up to you if you're willing to risk a flame war.
Autism Well, it is Autism awareness month. I believe you told me one time that you have two autistic brothers (right?). It would be interesting to see an outsiders view of how you relate to them and how autism has effected your life. I have autism myself, and I plan to go more in depth about my own personal experiences with autism later on.
Some vaguely formulated thing about the importance of finding common ground How about.....no.
Something about myself (would need suggestions on what, though) You can talk about a past experience that you find interesting.
Education I see someone already voted for this one. It's easy to say Americans are stupid and that we don't nearly put enough resources into education than we should. But really, I've heard it all before.
Some sort of technological topic (suggestions?) Nah, not everyone here cares about that stuff.
Something else? You can talk about the history of Thorn Valley......but probably not

Bottom line: I'd much rather hear something personal, some sort of experience that you've had than just hearing your opinion about politics and education. I personally voted for autism as it gives you direction to start talking about your life.

Sorry that I generalized education. Obviously there's more to talk about than what I said in the previous post. I still prefer a personal blog, however.

Hello, Simon,

I think that you should discuss something about yourself, like:

li your thoughts about the supernatural
li the past decade that you'd most like to visit via a time machine
li your opinion of people who crush on animated characters
