The Echidna Has Arrived

As you're walking down a path you see a green vortex swirl infront of you. A flsh oflight soon follows and your eyes close. They open to see a person standing there. It appears to be an animal like the Rats of NIMH but it's body is more human like, despite it's red fur color, dreadlock spines, and spiked knuckles. Around the belt on it's waist sit seven emeralds, each with their own color. "Hi." the creature says. "I'm A.J. the Echidna. Guardian of the Chaos Emeralds. And you?"

That's simple untroduction to my character. As for me, I'm A.J. and I've been a NIMH fan since 2001. I've been coming to Thorn Valley since that time and I've just rejoined the NIMH community. I write fanfics and play videogames, mostly Guitar Hero II, Kingdom Hearts, and Sonic. That's about it for me.

I`m a NIMH fan since 1984 and nothing has came along that was better,
I play video games also, my favorite is Final Fantasy seven thru ten, Kingdom Hearts was great, it was both Disney and Final Fantasy Characters, the best of both worlds for me, enjoy your stay with us.

No, not really. But I do know a great amount of Sonic information.

Welcome to Thorn Valley. I too play video games in my free time. Mostly MMORPGs like World of Warcaft. But I do still play Sonic games. Im a little hesitant to get the new one though.. : (. Kingdom Hearts is great, but Ive only played and beaten the second one. My favorite game though is probably Final Fantasy Tactics.

I love Sonic and have every Gamecube Sonic game except Sonic Riders and Gems Collection.
I'm drooling over the new Sonic game, but don't have any next gen consoles (unless you count the DS).
For the record, I think my favorite Sonic game I currently have is Shadow the Hedgehog. :wink:

I'd have to disagree with you on two things there Cedric. I think Gems Collection was only good for Sonic the Fighters, Sonic CD, and all of the Sonic Game Gear games. I'm not a fan of Shadow the Hedgehog simply because of the control scheme, voices, and branching storylines. I am, however, a huge fan of Sonic Adventure 2. Sonic Riders is terrible.

Funny you should mention SA2, I'm playing it right now. Now that I think about it, I think I like Sonic Heroes more than Shadow the Hedgehog (Metal Overlord was my favorite boss of the Sonic series thus far). I only want Sonic Gems for Sonic CD. And Sonic Riders only caught my attention because of the music (I always find myself listening to the sound tests whenever possible :oops: )

I see. I wasn't exactly thrille with Sonic Heroes either though. too many characters and switching through three of them onscreen was tedious.
