Hello! I just registered. My name's HolyArrow and I'm a teenager living in Japan. I just became a NIMH fan three months ago. My encounter with NIMH is in fifth grade (Now I'm in eight grade but soon being in nineth grade...) when we read "Mrs. Frisby and the Rats of NIMH" in class. However at that time, I had no interest in NIMH and barely payed attention to it. After our class finished reading the book we say "The Secret of NIMH" to see the differences. I liked the movie, but still wasn't a big fan. Three years later in the end of February, I was watching the Disney Channel and learned that The Secret of NIMH is going to be on soon. "Oh, I remember that movie!" I thought. I decided to record that movie. A few days later, I have no idea why, but the movie (especially Mrs. Brisby) was stuck in my head even in school. On February 27th of 2005 (Yup, I remember the date) I have finally realized that I was a NIMH fan. I was a Disney fanatic until then, I still am now, but now I have interests in other non-Disney animated movies and especially this one. I'm more of the movie fan and not really the book fan. Anyway, so once again, I have just registered and I will be writing stuff as long as I am a NIMH fan! Yoroshiku!

The only thing that I can tell everyone is that I'm just a plain NIMH fan beginner. I can't draw, I don't have any special talent, and even though my user name is HolyArrow I'm athiest (Well, it's kind of wierd... I don't have a religion, but I don't believe that science is everything.) and I'm not that holy.

I've moved around Japan and the US back and forth, back and forth. I am a Disney fanatic along with being a NIMH fanatic and usually a 14 year old would be interested in video games and sports, but I'm not that kind of person. I like what I like.

Finally, I have a special view on Johnathan, and Mrs. Brisby, along with two Disney mice and I call them "The hearts and the clubs" Coming from "Love is the key" and the theme of the movie the Disney mice are in.

Other fact...

I woke up early in the morning to watched "The Secret of NIMH" to start my day and that day I almost called my Algebre teacher Mr. Ages. (His and Ages' personalities are totally different. I almost called him that 'cause they both start with "Mr."

See you!

Yoroshiku!

As you can see I am so clumsy that I edited my introduction as a reply. Oh well... That still shows who I am!

Welcome HolyArrow! I've been following your comments that you've posted to the art gallery for some time. Kinda wondered when you'd make your way over here. ;)

Heh. Welcome to the club. As much as I like doing the website bit, it still bothers me that I can't really draw that well. In any case, it's good to have people post to the forum too. Hope you enjoy yourself here. :)

Hi. Just a notice that I finally just got a character in NIMHmuck. I go by as Hiro.

("Hiro" might have not been the best name for a character in NIMHmuck. That was the only name I could think of. But I like it so I'll keep it for now :D )

A belated welcome from another Secret of NIMH/Walt Disney Fan. I was also in the eight grade when I became a SoN-Fan. Some years later my interest for "The Rescuers" has been re-awakened too.

Your drawings are not as good as the pictures from the top-notch fan artists here but you can still draw good characters. (My own character drawings from school just look horrendous)
