Glad to hear it, amigo! Enjoy your stay here!

Excellent tastes in fan-fiction, BTW. wink

And great signature line, too. Inspired by "WarGames"?

Thanks all!
@David
No, it's Jigsaw (from Saw) "helping" Dr. Schultz :twisted: . On another note, I'm reading your "Crossed Paths Crossed Lives". Good work and I hope for more chapters soon :D
@ Nimhster and Simon
Thank you again!

It's inspired by "Saw" if I were to guess. Jigsaw always begins his "games" with the quote: "Hello (name), I want to play a game." It's pretty much become a part of pop culture by now. The line has been rightfully parodied several times.

Anyways, welcome to the forums. Not much activity has been going on here, but hopefully that will change. Have fun! :D

Also, may I ask why your second favorite movie is "Saw"? I'm not hating on your choice, I'm just curious.

It's a conglomerate of atmosphere, awesome music, suprisingly good sequels, and the well-pulled-off(in my opinion) plot twist.

I actually liked the second movie much more than the first one. We get a good insight into Jigsaw's character, a better set up, and a much better put together plot twist. In fact, the only time I really cared for anyone during a "Saw" movie was in "Saw 2." Daniel is really the only character in all of the series that I can actually care about. It's a damn shame that the writers didn't come up with anything meaningful to do with him in the other sequels. He's just tossed away and forgotten about. His story was the only one I really wanted to see through.

Don't even get me started on Cary Elwes' acting in the first movie. That was beyond atrocious. In fact, pretty much the entire series is known for its terrible acting. Also, don't get me started on "Saw 7" which has to be the worst conclusion to any film series ever.

The series introduced too many characters whose only purpose was so that they could make more sequels. Detective Hoffman, Peter Strahm (sp.), Jill, and others are all characters that become nothing. Eventually the plot becomes impenetrable and incoherent. It's just there to see people get tortured in "creative" ways.

Since atmosphere is pretty subjective to what is good and bad, I'll go ahead and say that for what it's worth, the movies (overall) have good atmosphere to them, even if it's not always used in conjunction with good acting or a good script. Music is also alright, the plot-twist theme being somewhat iconic.
