Yeah, I know that everyone's been rather frustrated at the slow loading times for the new Art Gallery. Believe you me, I was frustrated too. However, I have done some research on the problem and I've installed a special cache to hopefully help improve my server's performance. Please let me know if you find any strange behavior, however; there is a small chance that using this cache may cause slightly unexpected behavior due to the way it works, though it shouldn't normally occur.

Ever since I tried to get on the site,(fan art section) it would take at least 5 to 12 minutes to load. :x Simon, I hope it works!

And I finally found the primary culprit for the slowdowns. Sorry to anyone who used/liked the feature, but I discovered that trying to use the Gallery slideshow would peg the CPU at full usage whenever I tried it. I have thus disabled the slideshow feature.

Good work Simon! :D I am so happy that the fan art gallery is loading a lot faster than it did before. Everybody should be happy now!
