For those at my forum....

For those of you that are registered at my forum on my website, there's something that needs to be said before I forget about it. phpbbcity, my free forum provider has been slacking big time. ( again... )

If any of you had tried posting at my forum, you may get DEBUG errors. If you do, don't blame me, it's the administrators' fault that they can't maintain their bandwidth and keep the spam bots out of their support forums.

It's completely flooded with bad messages in each one and not a single user that is in need of support won't be able to get any because of all the spam bots and carelessness for paying the bill. I may have to switch to a new forum if this keeps up since I'm starting to lose my respect for phpbbcity. They also promised to migrate all the forums in to phpbb v3.0.0 in 2008, and never did.

So anyways, stay tuned everyone. I'll be sure to fill you in with more news.

Okay good, so it's not just me then. I can't believe the admin at phpbbcity let the hosting fall into the hands of spambots, I've browsed other hosted forums and they're like ghost towns.

I have no idea who was responsible, but for a while I thought it was sim- , err I can't disrespect the Cap'n.

Time to remove the dust off of this topic for an announcement;

I have finally built up enough motivation to find another new forum hosting service. The one I found is really neat and has far better features than crummy phpBBcity had. There's more than one server owner for the service, unlike phpBBcity having only one. I've known about this host before I started up the first NIMH Lodge and I regret not having selected it in the first place. Now, I am currently setting the board up and getting it ready for use. I'll post in this thread when I'm done setting everything up.
