Happy Birthday, Simon!!

Wow, it's been a while since I've been on here. n.n

Coincidentally, it's also the birthday of our dear administrator/forum god, Simon, and for this I have soomething to share.

When I first met Simon it was on somewhat platonic terms. He was the wizard, I was the newbie, and so it was. At the time I didn't foresee how I would become veyr close to him, mostly because I had (and perhaps still do) have an unfortunate habit of restricting my social boundaries.

But when a particularly grave personal crisis rose up violently in my life, I was surprised to find myself taking comfort in his confidence. In the space of a few weeks I become truly acquianted with someone whom I can confidently acknowledge as an outstanding human being. He is a man of integrity and trustworthiness, one who holds himself to the highest standards of friendship, something that is far too rare nowadays.

Simon, I know that I've often made numerous mistakes with regards to my conduct before others, but yet I can trust you to be there when I need your companionship. You are, in the truest sense, an exemplar of friendship. I am glad to have known you. Thank you, and God bless :)

To be honest, I only remembered because Marilyn's forum has a birthday reminder feature. I felt kinda bad because I remembered that I'd planned to do some art or something like that to celebrate. I thought some well-written plaudits would be in order instead.

Anyway, happy days :)
