Well, just got a nasty shock yesterday, when my system crashed hard, /almost/ taking my data with it. Fortunately I managed to get access to the data with Knoppix and copy the important stuff over to a smaller hard drive that I keep around for these sorts of emergencies. Anyway, suffice it to say, things are going to be a little slow for me as far as updates, etc, are concerned, until I can get things back up and running.
I'll definitely be doing some sort of backup scheme after this... :(

The problem turned out to be the hard drive. I finally received a replacement yesterday, so I should be able to start working on things again. Again, thanks for your patience.

They're marvelous tools when everything (and I do mean everything) is working in perfect harmony. But let one thing go wrong, and you can be screwed six ways to Sunday. I speak from experience for as you'll recall, I had some computer glitches of my own to contend with not too long ago. I hope that you are able to get the site back to normal ASAP becuase I for one really look forward to hearing about news in the NIMH community.
