For those DIY chefs out there who want to cook their own turkey, here's a turkey cooking tip I heard today. Have a 20-minute bake time for every pound of turkey you have. :wink:

Thanks so much for the well wishes, and the Brz and family will dive into that meat. This year went better, last year I made about 40 deviled eggs and had none, I had to take a freind to the ER and that took all day and into the night.When I got back, well they loved those deviled eggs, but none left :cry:

This year great times with friends, one small low point, I had to change a coliscamy bag for an elderly friend :roll:, I was the only one who knew how to do it, and 250 miles there and back I`m so worn out now, but in the end as I look on what God has blessed me with, the means to help others and have others help me, I am Thankfull, my cup over flows with his grace and goodness.

Your thoughts in your last reply ring especially true for me. As you know, I had a bit of a rough time earlier this year that invloved a stay in the hospital due to an intestinal obstruction with some complications (mainly an infection picked up at the hospital itself). It was touch and go there for a while, but thank god I made it through to see my 50th birthday. So in reply to your commendable thoughts and wishes, I would just like to add a heartfelt AMEN!

I'm sorry to hear about your hospital stay. Those are no fun, even I can relate to that. But I'm glad to hear you're still kicking. :D

hope everyone enjoyed there thanksgiving. i had 19 people in my house this year boy was it crowded but i enjoyed the extra family. hope everyone else had as good a time.

NIMHmaniac, since you made a Halloween and a Thanksgiving picture, are you thinking to do a Christmas one? It'd be cool, I'll try to make one too. :)

Thank you for your words of encouragement. As a matter of fact, I have been "cooking up" a little something for Christmas, but you'll just have to wait. I plan on posting it around Dec. 23rd so please be patient. Thank you for your understanding...
