Derek Jocobi

As we see some of our last living voices for the "Secret of NIMH" move on (and some have passed away), I just saw a DVD of "Under World Evolution" love the dark movie, after seeing it, my roommate, says " did you see somebody you know?" I could not figure it out, so he says "who is the father of the Vampires and the Lycans, aaah! it was Derek Jacobi, the voice of Nicodemous :shock:
boy, that took me for a loop that he is still going on :)

I tried to get some pics, not working. if anyone can get some pics of Derek Jacobi in "Under World Evolution" that would be neat, I found some but I can not download them.

I can't help you with Under World Evolution, but I can tell you that Derek Jacobi was also in Nanny McPhee as a man called Mr. Wheen.

There was a TV movie called "Inside The Third Reich" in which Derek Jacobi played Adolf Hitler.

I seem to remember Mr. Jacobi playing one of the two senitors in "Gladiator".

Also, he stared over hear in Englkand in the early 90's, taking on the role of a 10th century monk called "Cadfael" in a show of the same name. A former soldier who becomes a man of the cloth, helping those around him my solving murders.

Me too NIMHmaniac, some times it seems that if people do what they love in life, they age well :) , I heard that he is still very active in flims done in england.

Of course. Elizabeth Hartman, Mrs. Brisby's voice we all know and love. :) But too bad that she is no longer around.
