Miss Sawyer nose art .

As I went to TimothyB`s site and found new stuff, I must brag as on other forums,
Nose art" is a term used by people who work around aircaft, and is art work done on the near front of the plane, this I know after 32 years with working on and near aircraft.
TimothyB and a few others put nose art of Miss Sawyer liCats Do`nt Danceli on some old world war two plane pics and I must say it looks great, The animation style of CDD and Sawyer seem to fit well in that time. And there are more old time animation heroes also to be seen.

That was a very cool website. I think my favorite had to be the picture with the various "Looney Tunes" characters posing in front of "their" Flying Fortress as its crew. That was just such a cool picture.

Well, when you visit a site the host most likely will have a page for links and most are on the same subject as the site , some are not,

As with Simon`s "Thorn Valley" site he has the "Woods" and it links to many other NIMH and some Don Bluth sites,

Kieran, The pic with the "loony toons" was my 3rd best., 2nd was "fully loaded" most likey because of the neat "wall paper", all great stuff ! :)

Thanks for the posting all that, it was cool project.

Though, guess what, Shelley has started it again, part II with more nose art with fan fics and some more advance illustrations of Sawyer doing USO and Homefront stuff during the war. I think the deadline is July 22nd.

Just thought I'd share. Plus, the 10th anniversary for the film Cats Don't Dance is coming up next year, so there will be a lot of fan art in celebration. 10years!!!, my goodness where has the time gone.

I hope I did not step over the line in showing this off, But when I see super neat stuff I just have to let all know, you all did a great job!, I heard on another forum that Shelley maybe open for more also, I myself hope so, let us know where they may be posted or on what site.

10 years already?, I did not know, 2007 is looking better, It will be "the Secret of NIMH`s" 25th year and now "Cats Do`nt Dance" 10th year, and my 50th year of life, as an animation fan this is hopefuly going to be good year coming up, and hope to see some great works from fan artist next year :D

I may have some small request on my 50th Brithday to do some Brisby/Sawyer anniversary fan art by some of you wonderful artist out there, but thats next year :lol: .
