I'm writing a fanfic called the Third Element. It's a NIMH Fanfic. It focuses on Timothy and a strange prediction made by Jenner. It has a lot of flashbacks. It' rated PG.

I'm also working on a Nimh based fan-fic (as some of you may or may not know) called The Blight that is Nimh.

From experience I know how hard it is to make a story out of something that has an interesting background and add more to it. I am sure you have come up with this problem.

I would offer this advice:

Write out your ideas in note form as they come to you. This will help you to be consistant and flowing in your story since you can go back on some of your earlier ideas.

Watch both of the films over and over again to give you an indepth insight into the personnas of the characters's. (I know nimh 2 may not be reliable but if its Timmy you are looking at it might be a good idea to watch iit.)

For the same reason as above read the books.

Finally it would not hurt for you to look at other people's works to see the way they have formed stories.

I have nno idea what rating my work will get most likely between PG and 15. It mainly focuses on all members of the Brisby family and the power of the stone and the introduction of a second one.

I'm interested in looking at your work as it progresses if you do not mind. people are always telling me that I am a great source of honest yet settle critisism. Hope my advice helps.

Good to see some more interest in fanfiction. Robin's Archive is in for some major changes...

One piece of advice I can give is to just write. You'll get the bad out with the good.
