I HATE HOMEWORK. :x

Hear this:
(My phone calling) "Hello?"
"Hey Martin! What's up ?"
"Errr... not much really"
"Then get up you lazy bum! We're gathering the guys to go and rock the night. Wanna join?"
"What? But what about the school project?"
"Huh? Project what? You didn't finished yet?"
I just needed to turn my sight 90º degrees and see a blank sheet where the project should be, to answer that question. "Errr... Yeah, yeah, I'm almost done..."
"Ok! Be ready cause we gonna catch you in one hour! See ya later!"
"No! Wait! I..." He hang the phone.
What you think I did?
A: Phone back my friend and tell him that I can't go because I have to finish my project.
B: Phone back my friend and tell him that I can't go because I have appendicitis.
C: Phone back my friend and tell him to not forget the sunglasses. :?

Crap... Did I said that I hate homework?

(Puff, puff, puff) Ok I'm alright now, just needed to express my anger with someone else than myself.
Ah! By the way... I chose C... and won a nice professor scolding about err... how they call it... Responsibility?

could be worse, I usually find out about stuff the morning its due, then skip class to avoid seeing the professor that day (one nice thing about college). My personal favorite was finding out about tests the same day i was supposed to take them (happened a few times in physics 1, I rarely showed up for class and got a B in it somehow.)

By the way, thanks.

dud you ca not say you hate homework until youve spent the entire school year doing nothing but it and studying.

...college? Are you in high-school or college? I just noticed you said "professor," but I wasn't sure if that was what y'all call your... educational... class... well, your teachers in Uruguay...? 'Cause the professors at my college don't give a crap about your grades. In fact... they prefer you don't come to class so they don't have to look at your ugly mug. :?

I missed an assignment once, but so did the entire class, so I made haste to do a late completion with points taken off (it was a small assignment). That was english rhetoric 2, and the main points were on research papers. I did great, but that one assignment bugged me.

I have skipped frivolous classes like history or algebra once or twice a semester if I had other things planned... like a movie...  But usually I just wanted to get ahead. My free time is usually spent with friends or at home. Or working with YAWA. We just ratified our Constitution and Bylaws, btw. Fun, fun. :)

I'm stuck on that instrument of massive boring, I think they call it High-school  .
And yeah, we call our educational beings "professor" or "piss of" or "executioner" depending on the time of the day.
Btw the project was about programming (C++) and I managed to have a second chance, (my year depended on that) and I finished it at last... in a non sleep night :)

I'm joining the club. I HATE HW. It is proved by the fact that it is 12:45am when I am supposed to finish my HW... This has been going on for SUCH a long time. One reason is because of the NIMH related stuff I do, etc. But seriously, I can't blame everything on NIMHmuck and stuff like that. It's totally MY fault...

Speaking of finals, a word to the wise: Take care that you are ABSOLUTELY sure when and where your finals take place. It is extremely embarrassing to show up the last 5 minutes of the final and beg your professor to give you the full time to take it (I just had to do that, and I got lucky, really lucky.)
Anyway, ¡Feliz Navidad Amigos!

Hehe, I'll take the advise.
You know what happens when you go rushed all like "Where's the classroom! Dang, I'm gonna be late!" :x and you get in the right assignment but the wrong course?
Well if you are like me you'd probably will look at the exam in front of you and after put a weird face of "What the .... is all this?" quitly sneaking of the classroom and finally find the right one SERIOUSLY late and trying to think on a better excuse (and less shameful) than "I mistook the classroom".

Feliz navidad y feliz año nuevo to you too Tod! :)

Doesn't everybody?

I'm really bad with homework...I was so bad with it that I've had to drop two classes two semesters in a row to avoid getting failing grades.

Never gotten my classrooms mixed up, but once I did come into class a whole HOUR early! Oops!

Thank goodness there's no English or Math this semester...but there is Biology. :( I normally love English, but not the kind I've taken twice and dropped twice. 'Expository Essays'. In others words, reasearch! And you have to write evey single reference down just so or you have to re-write the darn thing. UGH! :x Math is my arch enemy. I'm so far behind that I haven't even passed Pre-Algebra yet. :( ARRGH! lislaps foreheadli

Hopefully Biology won't be too hard...and I've only got three other classes, because full loads and me don't mix...they explode. CIDG (Computer Integrated Design Graphics), Self-Defense, and Women's Choir.

Lazy? Perhaps. But this way I don't have a burnout.

math is not so bad at that level if you just stick to it. you don't have to memorize that many fomulas and it tends to be easy solve
however this:
x^2 d/dx = ?
:is at the level you can complain. it gets to the point were all problems look like this (      )

x^2 d/dx = ?

That's easy. It's 2x. ;) Try doing some linear algebra proofs first and then tell me that calculus is hard. ;)

Cool, I actually can refer someone to the FAQ once. I don't know that I've done that on the forum before. Anyway, the relavent info is here: http://www.thornvalley.com/help/faq.php#2

Feel free to ask more specific questions if you'd like.

You should be able to buy it at a store that sells a wide selection of software, or you can purchase it online at http://www.macromedia.com . If you're a student, I'd recommend looking for a place that sells it at an academic discount, since it retails at around $400. If you're a college student, your college's bookstore will likely have it available.

I hate homework but it helps us get a better job in life, a good house and so on. We'll have to do the work we're assigned to do.
