A character on a poster to a new movie called Hoodwinked has a huge resemblance to a character we all know. Like, what an interesting hairstyle she has, what big blue eyes she has, such a bright red cape she has, etc.

Take a look yourself, maybe I'm just nuts.

You can see the trailer here:

It's almost like an odd 3d human version of Brisby.

Yeah, Im seeing the resemblance myself. The animation in "Hoodwinked" isnt really even as good as an episode of "Jimmy Neutron" on Nickelodeon though, so I probably wont be going out to see it, as the story doesnt grab me either. 3D animation(CGI) just looks way too casual if you ask me-- In these coming out of nowhere, at least; Pixars was pretty good, but I still prefer professional 2D(or cell) animation anyday. With this story however, it has pure comedic value though, so it being casual isnt really a bad thing. Sorry about getting so off topic

The animation isn't too great, but in a way it looks like they chose to animate it like that, or were just really pressed for time. At certain parts because of the shading they almost look like real animatronic puppets, and move like them too. I love the crazy face on the lumberjack swinging the axe after busting through the window, the animation just fits there.

Well, I see some also, Trying to up Load Quick Time 7 to see the Trailer, not working tonight,

The hair, shape of the face, high brows (Can`t see the mouth area) and also her nose bridge line between the eyes to the nose, seems to match Briz`s dark fur line to her nose. as soon as I can get this Quick Time 7 to work I`ll fill you all in some more. :) .

Well, we know Mrs. B is one of a kind, but I can indeed see some resemblance in that RRH pic.

Yes, one of a kind indeed, in the end (tho some may not tend to look towards that) There is only One Mrs. Brisby, In animation and character, in my life time no other has redeemed this prize  .

I DEARLY hope that was freak coincidence, 'cause it's worth crying over if they did that intentionally (which, within reason, they most likely did not... I hope).

Another note on this great subject: While visiting Vanden`s site he said something about a character in Don`s movie "An American Tail" where a lady on the ship looks like Mrs. Brisby?, has anybody seen this? If you have a screen shot I would love to see it :) ,
Another Brisby look-a-like, could be. 8)

Thanks Simon,
Yeh, I see what you mean, I guess the mouse with the red scarf is to be her "look-a-like"?, well maybe if Brisby gained about 50 ounces

If anyone looks like a character from the movie "The Secret of NIMH", to me is the lady mouse blowing her nose, that reminds me of Auntie Shrew :P .

The movie that TimothyB showed us holds more water for a Briz "look-a-like".

I haven't watched Anastasia in a bit, but wasn't there a character that spoke and animated just like Auntie Shrew? I think it was someone who took care of Anastasia as an orphan giving orders the same way Auntie did.

I thought it was supposed to be the mouse on the far right. Either one's a stretch though.

Yeh, not much to see here, I think the drawing syle of the mice the movie "An American Tail" is somewhat different than the animation from "The Secret of NIMH" and a little bit towards the "cartoony" side for lack of a better word.

I`m going to have to see Anastasia again, TimothyB, to check that out, It has been a while for me also :)

I can't see any resemblance in the Hoodwink pic. that's Little Red. But I can see one on the American Tail pic. That is if Brisby had a sex change..

She still kind of looks like a girl to me. But now that you mention it, Red does look like Mrs. B. I've seen the movie and thought it was pretty good for a CG movie (in animation and storyline). But doesn't even come close to the work of art that is The Secret of NIMH.
