I hope you all had a great Thanksgiving ,

Well,, what did you guys do? and what yummy`s did you all eat?,

Me and my roommate and friends ate out (no doing dishes), when we got back we enjoyed a marathon of "Avatar Airbender" on Nick, and later, the most chosen DVD to enjoy that night was... (sorry NIMH fans), was "All Dogs Go To Heaven" or "Titan A.E.", well we watched "All Dogs Go to Heaven". I still love that one. but, Hey! I tried to slide the NIMH in :? 8)

I thank God we are still free to enjoy these things . :) .

My Grandparents moved from their post as missionaries in Guatemala (Central American hispanic country just south of Mexico) to a nice house only two miles away from where I live now. :) They've been there for 42 years; my father and uncle both grew up there, and I've been there dozens of times (I tell you, it's like paradise on earth... except the city, which stinks in the most non-metaphorical and non-proverbial way; as in, it literally insults my nostrils). But anyway, they moved back permanently, so I'm happy for that. :D

We had my step-sister and brother-in-law and their two munchkins over as well as those grandparents and my grandmother. My Dad, as usual, did an excellent job on the turkey and brisket, but this year he gave me the honor of making his even better potato salad. :D I was so happy! And I didn't do a bad job either, which makes me equally as happy. And of course we had pecan pie and pumpkin pie and some yam casseroll, all of which were just fabulous. I don't Thanksgiving would be such a memorable holiday if it weren't for the food, you know? I guess that's kinda sad, but it's also given, and I wouldn't change it for a thing.\

Still waiting for it to get REALLY cold here in the unusually autumn-colored Texas. And snow. I'd like it to snow and stick this year. Mmm... the snow... But Texas weather is so unpredictable. I kid you not, a very common saying follows, "If you don't like the weather in Texas, just wait five minutes."

And that's that. :) Hope y'all had a very happy Thanksgiving, and here's a forward blessing for a very merry Christmas. God bless!
