I've read the books - I'd not known there were movies.

If it's the show with the bats, and correct me if I'm wrong, I've seen part of it
on Teletoon here in Canada. It looked really good, very well animated and certainly a change of pace for characters.

There seems to be a website. http://www.silverwing.tv/index2.php

Edit: And upon looking at it, I don't especially care for the character designs, but tastes vary. It looks reasonably true to the first book. There's also a neat game to play. I think in general Canadians get a better selection of cartoons than we do.

Always interested in new books.

Does the book go by the same name as the series.
An author would also help, if anyone knows who it is.
By the way you all are talking its something of a simple read, but hey worst case I don't like it.

Excuse my French, but that looks totally badass!!!!!

Why have I not heard of this before??? When does this show come out on Disney Channel??? I gotta see it... and did someone mention something about there being movies of this too?

This sounds so much like an idea I once had, I thought several years ago about the concept of a fictional story I could write about the birds going to war with the land mammals... but I never thought about where the bats would stand!!! Too cool...

This is so awesome... why aren't there any cool cartoon shows like that here in America? All we have now is shit that tries to copy anime... which is almost as bad as real anime...
