Who's dressing up for Halloween, and what will you be? I'm going as an Otter again - I'll post pictures afterward, if anyone's interested.

Well, I do`nt dress up for Halloween, I had out candy as myself at the door, (unshaven and in my old house jeans and red neck "T" shirt), pretty scary as is, , but maybe not, I look like every other person around here  .

but, If someone showed up in a cool SON costume, I`d most likely pass out. :?

Post the pics we would love to see them :D .

I'll be going to a party hosted by the writers' gropu I'm a member of the Friday after Halloween, but I'll probably not be doing anything fantastical on the day. Um, I'll dress up as one of the characters from my book, which would be hard to describe unless you've read my book. I, too, shall post pictures.

And yeah, definitely post pics of your otter suit. Is it a fur-suit of some kind, like a mascot uniform? And finally, did you make it yourself?

Here you go. His name's Splash, and yeah, I made him myself.

Here's a group of us out Trick-orTreating last night. All of these are homemade, except for the Hawk on the extreme right, who's an Alinco costume.

Splash's head never photographs as well as it looks in person, sadly. I've not yet worked out why that is. In person he's got a kind of sweet, stoned half-grin, befitting his status as a sort of Otter Hippie from Monterey.

That is very cool costume! You made it yourself!? Wow, excellent work.

I'm intrigued by Tortillian's promise of pictures too. I'll keep an eye on this space...

I don't personally do anything special for Halloween. In fact it's the one day of the year that I don't look conspicuous in my usual outfit. A blank white mask, hooded black cowl, and gauntlets can draw some very strange looks when you're buying celery and marmalade.

I'm going to be a CS Major working on a programming project that's due tomorrow! The horror!

Or a zombie. Same diff. ;)

I'll admit that I went trick-or-treating, despite my age of 22(hey, don't look at me like that!) Who cares anyway, I made a statement: acting your age is boring. I went as a pirate, a last-minute, homemade, thrown-together costume. It was fun. :)

Thankfully, it didn't rain, a rare occurence in northwestern Oregon this time of year. :P

Hehe, it rained her aaaaaaaaaalllllllll day on the 31st. I was working so I didn't have to deal with it though. We don't usually go trick-or-treating for three reasons: 1) We're old now, and we'd rather party than beg for candy from someone who might just enjoy handing out ooooooooollld Tootsie Rolls (which they do often; too bad cnady like that doesn't come with an expiration date), 2) my nieces, nephews and cousins are all out of my region of the world, so there's no one to take, and 3) we always tended to go to our church's harvest festival instead of a night on the town.

Dude - I'm 44, and I went dressed an an Otter. The Blue Bear and the Fox in that picture are both older than I am :)
