I'm glad to hear it, Lee. :) I'm keeping your family in my prayers.

I tend to let things like this scare me (wrongfully so), so I hope you can be calm and rest in the Lord during this time. I'm volunteering as a "helper" at a grief counseling center for children who have lost a loved one, and every time I hear that someone's [arent is sick or very ill or has been in an accident, I remember what a twelve-year-old boy by the name of Daniel said. "Well, I think it's good and okay to be upset because he (Daniel's father) died, but I think God let him die for some reason, and I'm just going to be patient and happy that something better is on the way."

Wow... what a great outlook, don't you think? It's trying, what you're going through, and I don't think I handled it quite as well as you are when my father had cancer, but I have faith in you and in God.

God bless you and your family, and may He be the rock on which you stand.

I`m also sorrowed to hear that more has befallen you, as Tortillian has stated as he spoke for his father and others, find that this is not new, an age will leave us, while other will take our place and they are hopfuly better , I never cared for my father, as he had a cancer, my brother called me and said "If you want to get to know pops get down here, now, I`m afraid he does not have long" I went back east to see him and he looked bad, the cancer was killing him, but I had two weeks to spend with him and in that time I knew my father a new ! He loved the western channel ( Jonh Wayne) fan as I am, while my brother and his wife (A nurse)would be at work, I would care of my dad and make sure he got his meds, well not to blab on , I got back to califronia and within a week, my father passed away, Even tho I did not know him much, in a way he was my hero, Koren war vet and all, but in the end, it was those last two weeks, that made the made my life new again between night and day, at last I found my father ! :)

Wow, that's an amazing story. I feel somewhat the same about my Grandpop (my Mom's dad). We didn't know him very well, but he fell ill will liver and pancreal cancer, so he spent the last two months of his life in our care. It's always something special, and it makes us grow, when we are given the opportunity to sacrifice some time and energy for a member of our family, you know?

Ooh! I'll take tens and twenties. Or simply the chance to offer you solace when you need it again. Being allowed to be there in any capacity is thanks enough for me.
