Plague Mice...

Doesn't really have much to do with anything, but someone pointed the story out to me, so I thought I'd share.

Wow. :shock: Makes you wonder, huh? Mainly about the competence of our intelligence forces. :? I mean, if you're gonna make mice to carry any strains of the plague (deadly in this case), it only makes sense that you would keep better track of them.

Anyway, it may end up not being very serious. It just makes me roll my eyes.

...Well, no wonder the rats were able to escape from NIMH so easily. So much for national security :roll:

Seriously, though, you figure that they'd have more foresight, especially over something like infected mice. This, after all, is the world's most powerful economy. Surely they can afford the needed safety and security precautions :/

Still, I guess we are all human, in the end...

Amen, and we could all afford to glean experience from others when it's free instead of resorting to the school of Hard Knocks when it's not necessary. It's better to get it right the first time when we can instead of making a sacrifice. After all:

"It is better to obey than to sacrifice." And I'll be darned if I can't remember that reference AGAIN. I'll add it in later. My sister will remember where we found it. :roll:
