Looks like a great collectors item. I just spent a lot on a NIMH cel so I can't even think about getting this.

I hope a nimh fan here bids on it and posts many good pics. Ialso wonder what that NIMH float looked like. Maybe that's where there Nicodemus costume came from that I've seen pics floating around before.

I'd have to agree that this does indeed look like an interesting item. I'd bid on it myself except for the fact that if I where to suceed in outbidding all comers, I'd have no space to keep this item. It's nice just the same to see something like this being made available to the general public and more importantly, fellow NIMH fans like us... :D

I have a plushy of Mrs. Brisby that I got from ebay. I paid a stoopid amount of money for it but It's cool. She sits in my curio cabinet next to Tails. :)

Maybe it looks better when someone is actually wearing it, but it looks like Mrs. B put on some weight. :? Anyway, if someone does buy it, it'll have to be someone else. Poor college student and all. ;) The only memorabilia that I've bought (read: can afford) is a Secret of NIMH storybook[=http://www.thornvalley.com/gallery/studio/merch/sn_cover]Secret of NIMH storybook (there are some more scans of it in the Studio Art Gallery), a cross stitch pattern[=http://www.thornvalley.com/gallery/studio/merch/brisfam_cross_stitch]cross stitch pattern and a half-size prerelease poster[=http://www.thornvalley.com/gallery/studio/merch/prerelease_poster_full] half-size prerelease poster. Oh, and the soundtrack.

Dang, the auction says it has been ended early because the item is no longer available. Though, that might not be the total truth since ebay only gives you a few legitimate reasons to select.

LOL, you're right on that, Simon, Looks like Mrs. Frisby really needs to think about that Atkins diet thing... or maybe just call Jenny Craig, but enough with the fat jokes, I would never see a need in buying a costume like that.

Maybe someone used the 'Buy it Now' option?

I think there would be a different message for that, this message indicates it was ended by the seller before it was sold. I'll probably e-mail the seller just out of curiosity and ask for more pics.

Never saw anything like this, got to be one of a kind , 1981 in L.A., back then I was NIMHless and If I saw that costume in that parade I`d wonder who In the world that was :? still it is an Item that is not the "norm" that we see on E-bay for NIMH fans.

They may have found a local buyer or backed out ?

Okay, first of all, the image scared me.

The bid was over. But anyway, what is the main purpose for that costume? Halloween???

My gosh!!!!

For a purpose now, who knows, but it sounds like there was a cool NIMH float in a parade with who knows what other costumes and props were made for it.

That gets me to thinking, what if there is a Jenner costume out there somewhere  that would be cool and scary at the same time. 8)

I'm reasonably certain I saw a Jenner suit once, long ago, but I don't recall whose it was, nor can I find a picture. It would've been back around CF7 or so. Robert Beech did show up in a magnificent (if somewhat frightening) Nicodemus fursuit at CF9, back in 1998:

...Now that is a trip through the Twilight Zone o_O

Still, I think you should try to find out about that Jenner suit; a lot of people here seem to be rather fascinated by him (a little too fascinated, if you ask me :P). Plus, it would give us all a big thrill :D
