I've read Mrs Frisby and the Rats of NIMH, but I haven't read the second two books. I believe there's only two sequels anyway.

However I do plan to read them all in the future after I finish a few books I already have in my possession, yet haven't had the chance to read yet. so they come first.

Heh, another good poll...

I've read all the books over a period of about seven years. It took me that long because they were so hard to find at the library...

Amen to that, 15 years ago or more these books were abundant in the libraries, now are becoming hard to find. but I read the first book from our library and now to read it again 9 years later I had to buy the book, our local library has droped it. and they have no clue to what the other books are.

the only way I could get to read it was have it specially orderd through one of the biggest book retailers in Canada. Even they didn't know what the book was. I even got some funny looks when a 'guy' came in asking to order "Mrs. Frisby and the Rats of NIMH" hehe

I never really read the books, we were required to read the first one in the 4th grade but I decided to be lazy and pretend to read it. It was then that we watched the movie afterwards, which seemed to draw a lot of my class's attention with all the blood, tearful moments, and sword fights regardless of how different it was from the original story.

Anyway, like I was saying, I never got another chance to read the book or it's sequals. I tried looking for at my school library but it wasn't on their list, as for my local library, well it seems that we misplaced our library card.

Yeah, they showed us that movie in about the same grade, though in my case we weren't required to read the book...

The other students were too busy pointing out that 'Justin said a cuss word' to even vaguely understand what it was they were watching, let alone enjoy it...

out of the six that answered so far
50% read all
50% read one
out of those who read the book. i am suprised no ones only read 2 of the books.

Hey, I didn't even know about the fact that there were other books until two weeks ago.

If that doesn't prove just how scarce the books, and for that matter all books are becoming, nothing will...

I honestly don't know where you could find them either if you're interested in reading them. <sigh>

They're not rare, and in fact they are all still in print. My local library has copies of all three of them. While they're slightly harder to find in bookstores (they aren't that popular), Amazon.com carries them.

Cool. Thanks for pointing that out, Simon.. :) Now if I could only scrounge up the cash to buy them, I'd be set.

The library here has one copy of each book, and all three are in horrible condition if I recall correctly. That was several years ago....

I bought the set of three boks as soon as I saw them at a Barnes and Nobles store a few years back.

Although I was not markedly impressed with the second and third book.

Best Wishes!

I've read all three books and I must say that all of them were enjoyable in there own special way. I will add though that I too have had some difficulty in locating copies of these books (especially the last two) in bookstores. :) :)

Heheh, I found them.. I'm having all three special ordered and they should be here sometime next month. I can hardly wait to reread them, and find any parts I might have overlooked when I was younger. :)
