What are your guys' favorite ice cream flavors? For me it's gotta be mint chocolate chip or pumpkin. When at Cold Stone I usually get the birthday cake remix. I can't stand chocolate flavored ice cream, though I do like vanilla especially in Chik'Fil'A milkshakes.

I'm not that much of a chocolate ice cream fan, either.

My absolute favorite is COOKIE DOUGH ICE CREAM!!! :D

It's made even better with an Oreo topping. :P

And Chik-Fil-A always makes EVERYTHING taste better. ;)

Eh, I don't like putting things like cookies and candy bars into ice cream. Brownies and chocolate chips are an exception. I'll also put hot fudge on my ice cream.

Trying to pick my favorite flavor of ice cream is tough, I like ice cream too much. It'd be among these flavors though:

  1. Chocolate - for the times when I just want something simple, and Vanilla's too boring.
  2. Chocolate-base
    1. Fudge brownie - even better if there's fudge or marshmallow cream ripples
    2. Chocolate Moose Tracks - really, anything that puts peanut-butter and chocolate together is a winner in my books
    3. Smores - chocolate-covered graham cracker pieces + marshmallow cream ripple or mini-marshmallows. Yum.
    4. Chocolate with PB cups or ripples - Tillamook makes an awesome version of this. Seriously, look for it if your store sells Tillamook ice cream.
      [/list:u]
    5. Chocolate chip cookie dough - it's gotta be quality vanilla ice cream and no skimping on the cookie dough pieces. Even better with some chocolate syrup.
    6. Strawberry cheesecake - again, this is best if there are actual bits of cheesecake, and not just some flavoring added to the ice cream.
    7. Strawberry - with real fruit pieces, please
    8. Cookies & Cream - When I'm not in the mood for straight-up chocolate or strawberry and I want something simple, this is usually my go-to flavor. Especially if it's in a shake.

As far as vanilla goes, to me, it's a blank canvas to add other flavors to. The only times I really like vanilla is if it's in a really well-done homemade ice-cream. And even then I'm tempted to throw in strawberries or crushed oreos.

I should probably clarify that I don't mind putting stuff like cookies, fruit, and candy bars in my ice cream if they are fresh and not frozen. Cold Stone, for example, uses fresh fruit, candy, etc. in their ice cream. Pre-made frozen ice cream (i.e. grocery store ice cream) with frozen fruit, cookies, etc. is what I can't stand. It hurts my teeth and doesn't taste good.

And like Simon pointed out, I like chocolate ice cream WITH peanut butter mixed in, but not plain chocolate. Cheesecake ice cream with gram cracker covering and fresh fruit and cheesecake pieces also sounds scrumptious.

And of course, pumpkin ice cream is the best. XD Too bad it's seasonal. :x
